Through 2006, 3 transport vans were purchased for AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center at a cost of approximately $60,000.00 each.
Three new patient transport vans have been purchased over the past 4 years to take patients to and from their treatments to the new “RNS Cardiac Rehab Center” at the Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation
In addition, in 2014, two automobiles were also purchased, “The Twins”, for home services rehabilitation for those who are not able to come to the Bacharach Center.
A 15 passenger van was purchased for Cape Regional Medical Center for transportation of patients to and from the Cardiac Care Center.
In 2013, 2 Golf Carts, a four and a six-seater, were purchased for use in transporting patients to and from the parking lot to the Cancer Care Center. For some patients, even this short walk is a very trying ordeal.
Recently, RNS raised $70,000 to donate two wheelchair-accessible vehicles to The Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation.
